The phrase “all roads lead to Rome” is a proverb that dates back to ancient times. It is believed to have originated from the Roman Empire, where many of the empire’s major highways radiated out from the city of Rome.

In 2025, the roads of dermatology will also lead to Rome in one of the most important events of the specialty. Where tracks or “roads” that encompass skin health, oncology, hair and nail diseases, cosmetic procedures and more will all lead to Rome.

The Eternal City will host the International Congress of Dermatology, the flagship meeting of the International Society of Dermatology. The organizers have put together a most comprehensive program that is inclusive in its science as much as in its representation.

With the backdrop of the Colosseum, we look forward to welcoming you all to Rome, walking its streets, taking in all what the city has to offer and what impression the meeting will leave for its delegates and for the specialty.
